Sun 11 Coffs Harbour Garden Visit. Mary Gibson's garden, Talarm Road, Congarinni (via Macksville). This is a floristically rich property and so far botanists have identified about 150 native plant species. Vegetation includes riverine forest and moist open forest with some rainforest elements. There are rare species including Eucalyptus ancophila (Nambucca Ironbark) and Goodenia fordiana as well as an unusual form of Dianella caerulea.

Sat 20 Parramatta and The Hills Bushwalk Bidgigal Reserve. The walk will start at 9.30am (to avoid the possible later heat) and will walk the Burraga Track starting from Bald Hill. It is about 4 km long and will probably take about two and a half hours. Please park in Govenor Phillip Place, West Pennant Hills , not Blacks Road.

Sun 11 Sutherland Walk after fire in the Royal National Park. A hazard reduction burn was carried out on September 9 at Temptation Creek. This walk 9 weeks after the fire will enable an examination of the area to see early signs of recovery. Meet at Loftus Oval at 9.30am for an approximate 4.5km loop walk down along Temptation Creek and then back up the Service Trail to the starting point
